Going back to some more organic stuff after doing hard surface. Just having fun and grading like a maniac :-). Sculpted in Zbrush, textured in Substance painter and rendering done in blender, cycles as usual.
Time to get back in the comfort zone with another alien bust. Sculpted in zbrush. Render and comp in blender. First time using the filmic LUT from the nightly build of blender.
Here’s a robot character design that I’ve made. I’ve been working on and off on this for some time now. It started out as a concept sculpt in zbrush, then a production model in blender. I used marvelous designer for the cloth. Textured in substance painter and finally rendered in blender, cycles. I also ended up doing a simple environment as well. The closeup stuff i done in blender and the mountains in the back is done in world machine.
I’ve been looking at some photography lately and I wanted to something inspired by that in 3d. This is more of a study in composition than anything else.
